    • Bio: Earl George "Sonny" Silbernagel, 79, died Friday, January 23, 2009, at Billings Health and Rehabilitation Community.
    • Earl was born March 1,1929, in the rural area of Dent, the
      son of George and Alvina (Faiske) Silbernagel. He was baptized at the Sacred Heart Catholic church. Earl received First Communion and Confirmation at Our Lady
      of Victory Catholic Church in Fergus Falls and attended school in Fergus Falls.
      When Earl was 17 years old, he began working for Otter Tail Power.
    • Sonny Silbernagel married his one and only sweetheart June Evelyn Sandahl on Oct. 14, 1950.
    • EHe is survived by his wife June; children Kay (Roger McMorris), Judy (Fred) Hilario, Darcy (Eusebio) Diaz, Donn (Rhonda) Silbernagel, Thomas (Lurline) Silbernagel, Lindee
      Silbernagel; brothers Robert and Fred and sisters Evelyn Holstrom and Delphine Silbernagel.
    • He was preceded by hhis parents, George and Alvina,
      Silbernagel; a daughter, Shari Marie Silbernagel; sisters, Helen Silbernagel, Alice Mae Herakochi and Elsie Parks; brothers, Ambrose and Edward Silbernagel; and two infant sisters.
    • Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Little Flower Church
    • Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery
    • Funeral Home: Dahl Brown Chapel
