    • Bio: He started in radio at WLS in Chicago in April of 1924 and did over 19,000 broadcasts there.
      As a member of the team of "Ford and Glenn" he helped originate the "National Barn Dance" and did the first marathon broadcast for charity in 1925.
      He starred on TV on WPIX in New York for two years and for two yearsa WLW in Cincinnati OH over two years in Cleveland with KYW, and eight years with KOTA in Rapid City SD. He originated the TV Show "Captain Glenn's Fun Wagon.
      He was nicknamed Capt Glenn in 1940 in Hartford CT on WTIC where he organized an army of over 6000 kids to aid the War effort, gathering huge quantities of scrap iron, paper, fats as well as thousands of dollars in War stamps that were sold by the Capt Glenns Junior Legion.
      As part of "Ford and Glenn" he recorded over 60 songs for Columbia Records, as well as recording for Victor, Brunswich and Perfect Records.
