1937 – 2016
- Barbara Anne Wright, age 79 was called home to our Lord and Savior on July 21, 2016 after fighting a brave battle with cancer.
Barbara was born on July 20, 1937 in Wellington, Texas to William and Anne Leggitt. She was the oldest of four sisters. They moved from Texas to Colorado and then onto Vale, Oregon where she graduated High School. She then moved to Boise, Idaho where she met the love of her life, James Wright. They were married in Winnemucca, Nevada on November 10, 1956. There were married for 47 years at the time of Jim’s passing in 2003.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandma, great-grandma and friend. She had a love for old cowboys and their music and loved the Oregon Coast and went there often with her family. She loved life, laughter and her family very much.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim and son John. She is survived by her sisters Gaynelle Edmondson, Judy (Hank) Bishop and Nancy Moore and their family of Vale, Oregon, sons Chris Wright and Eric (Summer) Wright, daughters Julie (Larry) Sirhall and Jaime Robin, 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She will be missed by all of family and friends, including her good friend Eric Bodily.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 28th from 5:00 – 9:00 pm at Plantation Country Club located at 6515 W State St, Boise, ID 83714.
