- FUNERAL SERVICES
FOR MRS. ANDERSON
- Funeral services for Annie M. Anderson were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Waggener & Campbell chapel with Rev. R. A. Griepp, pastor of the West Side Methodist church, officiating.
Hymns were presented during the services by Soloist Don Shepard with accompaniment at the organ by Mrs. J. M. Carlson. Those selected to serve as casket bearers were Hans Tutvedt, Peder Tutvedt, Sam Jackson, William Briner, Hawkin Moe and Adolph Lauman. Interment was made in the Conrad Memorial cemetery.
- BORN IN NORWAY
Mrs. Annie Martha Anderson was born September 13, 1871 to Lars and Anna Larson at Frondjaheim, Norway. On December 24, 1890 she was united in marriage to Ole Anderson and to this union 10 children were born, one preceding her in death in infancy.
In 1922 the family moved to the Flathead to make their home and have since resided here. Mrs. Anderson passed away at her home at 353 Third street east north on January 21, 1949, at the age of 77 years. Mr. Anderson preceded her in death on May 31, 1937.
Surviving are six sons, Alfred, Oscar, Palmer and Olof of Portland, Oregon, Arthur of Spokane, Washington, and Selmer of Kalispell; and three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Yerkes of Kalispell, Mrs. Lillian Kauffman of Okotats, Alberta, Canada, and Mrs. Beatrice Whelchel of Cut Bank, Montana; also 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
