- Bio: Mrs. Edna Ann Lage Harries, the daughter of Adolph and Sophia Hilker Lage, was born July 11, 1898, in Paullina, Iowa; and departed from this life while a patient in the Rock Rapids, hospital, on March 1, 1966. As a youth she attended the public schools in Paullina and graduated with the class of 1916. She attended Iowa State College and Iowa State Teachers College. On January 8, 1920, she was united in marriage with Thomas D. Harries. To them were born two daughters, Kathryn Ann, and Margaret Ellen. The couple made their home and spent their entire life together in the Paullina and Sutherland communities. Mrs. Harries was a member of the Presbyterian church, and was affiliated with the Sutherland Methodist church. She was ac¿tive in the Woman's Society of Christian Service, the Paullina Federated Women's Club, the Calumet Federated Club, the Order of Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary, and various She the F. C. N. P. A. Club of Paullina. Preceding- her in death were her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Lage, a sister, Martha, and a a brother, William. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Harries, of Sutherland; her daughters, Miss Kathryn Ann Harries, of New York City; Mrs. L. D. (Margaret Ellen) Kyle, of Rock Rapids. Iowa; three brothers, Edward J. Lage of Sutherland, Herman C Lage, of Tucson, Arizona; and Albert Lage of San Jose, Calif¿ornia. Two sisters. Mrs. Elma Kensinger of Long Beach, Cali¿fornia; and Mrs. E. R. (Ella) Jeffryes, of Laramie, Wyoming Also two grandchildren, Patricia and Thomas Kyle. Funeral services under the direction of the Baumgarten Funeral Home were held in the Sutherland Methodist Church, Friday afternoon, March 4, 1966. The Rev Warren A.
