- Bio: Rev. Everett D. Cooley COOLEY, Rev. Everett D. Everett D. Cooley, 100, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 in Maranatha Village, Springfield, Mo. Born May 15, 1905, near Fennville, Michigan, to the late Roy and Bessie Cooley. He was a graduate of Bloomingdale High School in 1923. In 1929, he married Elyra Seilheimer of Kalamazoo: two sons and one daughter were born. He had been employed at Kalamazoo Stove Co. before founding the Schoolcraft Assembly of God. Rev. Cooley was an Assemblies of God minister for 70 years serving as a Pastor and District Official. He was the founding pastor of Schoolcraft Assembly of God. He served 12 years as the Michigan District Superintendent for the Assemblies of God. Survivors include his sons, Dr. Robert E. and Eileen Cooley and Rev. Gerald and Jolene Cooley; daughter, Shirley and husband, Rev. David Krist; sister, Mildred Fox, Schoolcraft, Michigan; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; many relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Elyra; two brothers; two sisters; and grandson, Robert C. Cooley. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2006, followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m., at the Schoolcraft Assembly of God, 13000 US Highway 131, in Schoolcraft, MI. Burial will be in the Schoolcraft Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Robert C.
