    • Waldenmor "Dave" Heinle, 81, formerly of Washburn, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, in California. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at United Methodist Church, Washburn. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Washburn. Officiating will be the Rev. Peder Anderson. Visitation will be on Friday, Dec. 13, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Goetz Funeral Home, Washburn, and will continue one hour before services Saturday at the church.
    • Dave was born Sept. 14, 1932, and was raised in Turtle Lake and worked in the surrounding areas of McLean County. He moved to Sacramento, CA, to join his grandparents.
    • Dave married Shirley Tweeten on July 3, 1954, in Carson City, NV. Dave's pastime was enjoying the grandchildren and great-grandchildren at family gatherings. What he loved most was going back to the family farm in Washburn during his summers. His favorite activities were playing pool and bingo at the Washburn Senior Center, and he cherished his horses.
    • He is survived by: his wife, Shirley; four sons, Robert, David, John and Michael Heinle; one daughter, Debora Werksman; 13 grand-children; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dick and Jim Heinle; four sisters, Orpha Evans, Mona Schaan, Doris Repnow, Ana Bucholz and Gene Scaalf.
    • He was preceded in death by his brothers: Jack, Marvin, and Herb; and sisters Ruth and Ruby.
