- Bio: Ardythe Lucille Peterson joined her husband (Maurice) in Heaven on March 1, 2006. Ardie (Wold) was born in Thief River Falls, Minnesota on March 12, 1918. She married Maurice Peterson and moved to Tacoma in 1955.
- Ardie was employed by Northern Pacific Hospital and Puget Sound Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church for 50 years and was actively involved with the women's ministries. She was also a member of the Women's Home League of the Salvation Army and Royal Neighbors of America. She enjoyed reading and gardening. She loved music and in her younger years, she enjoyed playing the mandolin and singing in groups.
- Ardie is survived by her daughter Twyla (Bob) Snyder, her son Ronald Peterson, grandsons Jason Peck and James Peterson, great-grandson Toby Skelly, and many nieces and nephews.
- Ardie was preceded in death by her parents Hilma Erickson Wold and Berger Wold, her husband Maurice, sister Stella (George) Zander, brothers Raymond Whalen, Ralph (Betty) Wold of MN and grandson Stephen Peck of Tacoma.
- Ardie will always be remembered for her sweet disposition, giving nature, love for her Lord and family, especially for her grandchildren. She was a blessing to all who knew her.
- The family would like to thank the staff of Pioneer Place of Tacoma and Orchard Park Health Care Center.
- Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 9, 2006 at Mountain View Memorial Park followed by a memorial services at 11:30 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
