- Bio: Keri Arlene Edwards, 57 of Plaza and McClusky ND died Wednesday June 28, 2017 at New Town ND.
- Keri was born July 14, 1959 in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Arnie and Yvonne (Hornaday) Olson. As a young girl she lived in Plaza, ND with her three sisters, Kathy, Kyanne, Kristian and her parents until moving to rural New Town, ND where she graduated from New Town High School in 1978.
- Keri became a mother on June 21, 1984 to Kacey her oldest daughter, followed by Jessi (Jan 29, 1988), Sadi (August 30, 1991) and Taylor (Sept. 18, 2002). Her girls were her prized possessions. Keri loved her girls with all she was.
- On May 28, 2000 Keri was united in marriage to Daniel Edwards in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. They lived in Omaha, Arkansas with their 8 children where they owned and operated a successful flooring company (Trilakes Flooring) until 2009. They returned to Plaza ND in 2009 and made their home there.
- Keri worked at Northrop Grumman for 29 years and retired in 2015.
- Keri was a child of God and had a strong faith. She loved her family and friends and was known for her kind heart, always reaching out to help anyone in need.
- She loved long walks and the outdoors. Keri enjoyed fishing and hunting with her dad, Arnie, and teaching her girls how to hunt. As Arnie would say, "She was an "Avid Hunter"...."crackshot"!
- Keri was a gifted artist, sketching portraits and painting wildlife and loved crafts.
- Keri was a hard worker and as her mother would say, "She can do anything a man can do". She did everything from make a home beautiful to lay flooring and do tile work.
- Keri was a loving mother that will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
