- FUNERALS
Ole Anderson
- Funeral services for Ole Anderson were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Waggener & Campbell chapel by Rev. H. B. Ricketts of the Methodist church. During the service, Mrs. A. A. Koppang sang two solo selections, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. J. M. Carlson. Those acting as pall-bearers were Oliver Engebretson, Archie Pearson, Edward Henkel, Ivan M. Christensen, Alex Johnson and Hans P. Tutvedt. Interment was made in the Conrad Memorial cemetery.
- OBITUARY
Ole Anderson was born March 8, 1852, in Oslo, Norway, and passed away in Kalispell, Montana, May 31, 1937, at the age of 85 years. Mr. Anderson came to the United States in 1872 and to Kalispell in 1920. He was married to Miss Anna Martha Larson Dec. 24, 1891, at Hillsboro, North Dakota. He is survived by his widow and nine children, Alfred Anderson of Portland, Ore.; Oscar A. Anderson, of Kalispell; Arthur O. Anderson, of Portland, Ore.; Selmer M. Anderson of Kalispell; C. Palmer Anderson of Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Frank Yerkes of Kalispell; Olaf N. Anderson of Portland; Mrs. P. R. Kauffman of Okotots, Ore.; and Mrs. Fred Whitchel of Kalispell. There are also 19 grandchildren.
