- Bio: Eugene W. Larson, 78, of Camano Island, died unexpectedly Sunday, February 2, 2003 following a brief illness. He was born May 14, 1924 in Everett, WA.
- Gene had resided in the Everett area the majority of his life, where he owned and operated L & R Flooring Company. He moved to Camano Island about twelve years ago. He was a member of BPOE 479, Kawians, sons of Norway and the VFW. He was also a member of the Camano Chapel.
- Gene is survived by his beloved wife Susie of Camano Island; sons, Tim Larson and wife Liz of Puyallup, WA, Gary Larson of Lynnwood and Dean Larson of Everett, WA; daughters, Sharon Liquori and husband John of Atlanta, GA, Nancy Button and husband Larry of Granite Falls, WA; step-daughters, Barbara Rockett and husband Forrest of Evergreen, CO, and Dottie Piasecki and husband Don of Mill Creek, WA; sister, Aileen Owen of Everett; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren to "Papa Gene"; also numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
- Memorial Services will be held 1:30 p.m., Thursday, February 6, 2003 at the Camano Chapel, 867 West Camano Dr., Camano Island, WA.
Private Family Graveside will be held at Floral Hills Cemetery, Lynnwood, WA.
Family suggests memorials to The Camano Chapel, Camano Island, WA.
Arrangements under the direction of Gilbertson Funeral Home, Stanwood.
