  Noteringar	Bio: HUDSON, Wis. - Graveside services for Elizabeth L. Booth, 93, of Hudson, Wis., formerly of Davenport, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, in the mausoleum at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Family services will be held on Monday at Harvestime Outreach Church in Hudson. Mrs. Booth passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at Hudson Hospital. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport, assisted the family with arrangements. Elizabeth was born in Davenport on January 10, 1920, daughter of Noah and Doris (George) Hage. In 1937, she graduated from Davenport High School, and in 1941 from Marycrest College, Davenport. Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Education and began working as a teacher at both the high school level as well as at AIC Business College, Davenport. She met her husband, Warren Booth, and they were married in the First Presbyterian Church on May 8, 1942. They moved to Camden, N.J., where Warren worked as a mechanical engineer at General Chemical Company. Their only child, Marya, was born in Audubon, N.J., on January 23, 1948. They moved back to Davenport three years later for him to start his own engineering business, Booth Brothers and Company. They remained in Davenport for the next 45 years, with Warren building his business and Elizabeth being a wife, mother, and teacher. They were active members at First Presbyterian Church, where Elizabeth also taught Sunday school for many years. She and her family later became members of Living Church of Jesus Christ in Eldridge. In 1996 after selling the business, they moved to Apple Valley, Minn., to be near Marya and her husband, David Smith, and their three sons. They built one home there and another later in Eagan, Minn. They celebrated 60 years of marriage before Warren went home to the Lord on July 24, 2002. Elizabeth then moved to Hudson, where she spent her last 11 years close to Marya and David. They had three grandsons and eight great-grandchildren. Elizabeth was an active member at Harvestime Outreach Church, Hudson. Elizabeth was always a loving, giving, encouraging wife, mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all of her heart and lived her life each day in close fellowship with Him. She was a wonderful example for all of the family to follow. She did not hurry through life, but rather enjoyed each moment for the gift that it was to her from the Lord.
