Bio: Age: 74Buried June 19, 1973Source: Foust Funeral Home, Eagle Grove, IAOrin T. Byro, 74, died at his home Sunday Morning. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Evangelical Lutheran Church with burial at the Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home until 9 a.m. Tuesday. Survivors include the widow, Gladys; sons, Paul and Kenneth, both of Humboldt; daughters, Mrs. Edgar Dorow, Osage; Mrs. Martin Rogness, Forest City; brother Ervin, Augusta Mich.; sisters, Mrs. Lester Larson, Wesley; Mrs. Yvonne Gates, Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs. Bernhard Kvale, Berkley Ill.; and 12 grandchildren.Mr. Byro was born at Shabbona, Ill., and came to Iowa in 1910 where he completed his education. He married Gladys Christeson in 1923 at Eagle Grove. They farmed in the Eagle Grove-Goldfield area until retiring in 1967. Mr. Byro was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, active in the Evergreen Sporting Association, member of the Farm Bureau, 4-H leader, church deacon, and member of the Male Quartet.
