The funeral for Oscar Brusven, 60, 1208-3rd Ave. SW, formerly Sawyer area farmer who died today in a Minot Hospital will be Tuesday at 2 in Zion Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Marvin Mutzenberger will officiate and burial will be in the Rosehill Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Brusven was born in Rice Lake Township, Ward County, North Dakota, September 23, 1908, to Mr. and Mrs. Anton Brusven and was reared in Ward County. He married Helen Johnson in Minot, July 3, 1935. They farmed south of Sawyer in Willis Township, Ward County for 10 years and in recent years lived in Minot.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Dale of Minot and Ronald of Eugene, Ore; one daughter, Mrs. Milton (Deanna) Luchsinger, Enderlin, ND; his father of Minot, a sister, Mrs. Linda Onstad, Minot; and nine grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home after noon on Saturday; Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.; all day Monday and Tuesday until noon.
