- Bio: Clinton A. "Clint" Sunden passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2013, from complications of lung cancer.
Clint was born on Nov. 4, 1957, to Carlyle and Opal Oakland Sunden, the second of four children. Clint was born and raised in Billings. As a kid, he loved baseball and his family was very active in Little League in the Heights. Following high school, he enlisted in the Navy and was stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Upon his return, he met and married the love of his life, Twila Lennick, on Nov. 17, 1979. They have two beautiful daughters who, along with the grandchildren who came later, he adored. Some of his favorite memories were of camping with his family at Emerald Lake.
Clint was very personable and well-liked by everyone he ever met. He was truly the epitome of "a nice guy." This served him well in his endeavors as a salesman. Over the years, he worked at many different places, most notably, Frontier Chevrolet, Eagle/Lowe's and Reporter Office Products (Office 360). He was also proud to have been a partner in Custom Topper. He loved to build things with his hands and passed this on to his grandson Michael. His other hobbies included bowling, camping, hunting and anything social.
Clint was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Twila; daughters Christine (Bryan) Hess of Bozeman and Michelle Sunden of Billings; grandchildren Michael Mill, Madalynn and Mackenzie Hess; brother Clayton (Melanie) Sunden; sisters Dixie (Randy) Pickard and Darcy Schmaing; in-laws Floyd and Janice Lennick, Farron and Kathy Lennick, Jerry and Vonnie Bradbury; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Clint will be greatly missed by all who knew him; we have lost one of the kindest people we ever knew.
