  Han tjänstgjorde i 2:a världskriget Bio: WINLOCK, WA- Gordon Treffry, 94 of Winlock and formerly of Webster died on Friday, June 20, 2008 at Winlock. Gordon LeRoy Treffry was born on June 24, 1913 to John and Elizabeth "Nellie" (McCloud) Treffry in New Rockford, North Dakota. He attended school there and graduated in 1930. He married Fern Nygaard on June 19, 1938 in Montevideo, Minnesota. To this union three children were born. They later moved to Hastings, Nebraska where he was manager of eleven cafeterias for the Naval Ammunition Depot. After Fern's death in 1953 the family relocated to Pierpont and then to Webster. Gordon married Lorraine (Mahlen) Sundberg on April 18, 1955 in Webster. They had one son, Gerald. Gordon was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was church treasurer for several years. Lorraine died in 1973. After many years in the grocery business, he retired and moved to Winlock, Washington to be near his sons. Grateful to have shared in his life are two sons, David (Marlys) Treffry of Winlock, WA and Gerald (Shelly) Treffry of Longview, WA; two daughters, Judy (Lonnie) Anderson of Aberdeen, SD and Betty Block of Sisseton, SD; six grandchildren, Kim Broome of Repton, Derbyshire, England, Sherri Wogan of Vancouver, WA, Mark Anderson of Valley City, ND, Justin Block of Moorhead, MN, Kristin Block of Hendersen, NV, and Megan Treffry of Longview, WA; eight great grandchildren and companion, Barb Asken of Winlock, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives and one brother. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Skudesnes Lutheran Cemetery near Pierpont. Rev. Orlo Espeland will officiate. Cattermole Funeral Home of Winlock and Fiksdal Funeral Service of Webster are in charge of the arrangements.
