- Bio: Barry G. Saxon, passed away August 8, 2018.
- He was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada to Bert and Lillian Pickering Saxon. Attending high school in Vancouver, he was an All-City Athlete in Baseball, Soccer, and Pole Vaulting.
- He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a pilot and flight instructor.
- After attending Western WA University, he joined Pan American Airlines, where he flew internationally for 25 years. He and his loving wife Annette enjoyed twenty years living and working in Southern California before returning to the Saint Louis area. His love of sports and wonderful sense of humor will be missed by all who love him.
- Surviving are: his wife of 40 years, Annette [nee Frank] Saxon;
four children:
Michael D. Saxon, Craig S Saxon, Jodel Saxon Gellig, Joselyn Saxon Coty, nine grandchildren;
three step-children:
Anne Cheek Morales, Robert F Cheek, Thomas R Cheek;
six step-grandchildren;
two brothers: Victor [Carolyn] Blamey and Roger [Juanita] Blamey.
- He was preceded in death by his mother, step-father Frank Blamey, and his twin sister: Dorothy Smith.
- A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am Saturday, August 11th at Valhalla Chapel of Memories. Inurnment will be private at Valhalla Mausoleum.
