- Bio: Richard Iven Pine, 76, died June 17, 2000, at home.
- He was born July 5, 1923, in Rainier and moved to Clark County 60 years ago. After he retired, he and his wife spent spent many winters in Arizona.
- Mr. Pine's brother, Robert, who also lived in Vancouver, died on the same exact date as Richard.
- Richard Pine retired in 1985 from Southwest Delivery in Vancouver as a truck driver. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Arizona.
- Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Louise I., at home; seven daughters, Shirley Witt of Spokane, Elaine Marta of Vancouver, Cherri Pine of John Day, Ore., Terry Pine of Hungry Horse, Mont., Pauline Fox of Ridgefield, Tina Aldous of Vancouver and Donna Johnson of La Center; three sons, Clifford Pine of Bend, Ore., Ronald Kleveland of Ridgefield and Robert Kleveland of Vancouver; one sister, Marie Harvey of Vancouver; his brother-in-law and his wife, Leon and Rose Grantham of Gladstone Ore.; 22 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
- His body was cremated. A memorial service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Vancouver Funeral Chapel.
