    • Bio: From unknown newspaper January 5, 1953John Sunnoe, 90, Died This A. M. At Sunset HomeSTORY CTIY -- John Sunnoe, 90, died at the Story City Sunset Home at two o'clock this morning after an illness of two or three weeks.Mr. Sunnoe had been living at the Home since the death of his wife three and a half years ago. He was born in Norway, Europe, and since coming to this country had farmed for a number of years west of Story City until retiring and moving into Story City.Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Immanuel Lutheran church with Rev. T. J. Alvestad officiating. Burial will be in the local cemetery.He is survived by thirteen children: three sons, Irvin of Frost, Minn., Joe of Jewell and Oscar of Story City; ten daughters, Mrs. Sig Wike of Eugene, Oregon, Mrs. Nels Rogehaugh of Thompson, Mrs. Iver Okland of Rake, Mrs. Paul Jones of Slater, Mrs. Hawley Peterson of Jewell, Mrs. C. C. Hanson of Austin, Minn., and Mrs. Embert Munsen, Mrs. Orville Paulson, Mrs. Gaylord Johnson and Mrs. William Larson all of Story City; one sister, Mrs. Dave Beckley of Nevada; two half-brothers, Carl and Henry Jacobson, and two half-sisters, Mrs. Nelle Boe and Mrs. Bettena Frette, all of Story City.
