- Bio: June M. Freelander was born on June 16, 1941 in Wabek, North Dakota. Her parents were the late Arthur and Frances (Reum) Freelander. June graduated from the Makoti High School in Makoti, North Dakota. June was united in marriage with Gerald Johnson. Together they made their home in Douglas, North Dakota and Kulm, North Dakota where they farmed and raised their 5 children: Gerald T. Jr, "Jerry", Dean, Kurt, Craig and Wanda.
- On September 6, 2002 June was married to Lavern E. Dornbusch in LaMoure, North Dakota. Together made their home in Perham, Minnesota. June loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching any kind of sporting events and putting together large puzzles. On February 17, 2017 June passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and the gentle care of Lakeland Hospice at the Thomas House in Perham, Minnesota at 75 years of age. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Jr. "Jerry" (Sally) Johnson of Kulm, North Dakota; Dean (Rosie) Johnson of Kulm, North Dakota; Kurt (Tera) Johnson of Willmar, Minnesota; Craig Johnson of Jamestown, North Dakota; Wanda (Carey) Schlecht of Willmar, Minnesota; step-children: Kevin (Christine) of Audubon, Minnesota; Mike (Heidi) of Perham, Minnesota and Mindy (Kirk) of St. Paul, Minnesota; 15 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings: Shirley Seibold of Bethany, Oklahoma; Lowell (Diane) Freelander of Deer Park, Washington; Roger (Chichi) Freelander of Loyal, Oklahoma; many other relatives and a host of friends.
