- Bio: Mildred A. Devine, 92, of Yankton and formerly of Irene, SD passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton.
Mildred A. Robinson was born June 26, 1922 in Pittsburgh, PA, to George and Ethel (Campbell) Robinson. She attended Oliver High School in Pittsburgh.
Mildred married Clayton Huber on February 14, 1946. He died on July 21, 1971. She later married James Devine on October 9, 1976. He died on December 20, 1995. She was a member of Vangen Lutheran Church. Mildred taught Sunday school and held offices in the WELCA. She loved her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two sons Dale and Dennis, two step-sons Rodney and Dan Devine, four brothers, two sisters and one half-brother Jerry Robinson.
Survivors include one son, Tom (Roxy) Huber, Rapid City, SD, daughter-in-law Karen Huber, Mission Hill, step-daughter Jane (Jack) Slowey, Yankton, step-sons Thomas Devine of Rapid City, SD, Laddie Devine, Ankeny, IA, step-daughter-in-laws Jeannie Devine, Yankton and Sally (Gary) Gramm Brookings, SD, two half-sisters, Karen (Dave) Shook and Alice Crozier, She was blessed with eighteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
