- Bio: Mrs. Ole Knutson Dies; Funeral SetMrs. Ole (Grace Mae) Knutson, 65, of Dolliver died of a lingering illness yesterday at a Fairmont Hospital, where she had been hospitalized for one year.Mrs. Knutson was born Dec. 25, 1893, in Wright County, the daughter of Melvin Peterson and Sarah June Mills Peterson. She received her education in schools at Dows and at Iowa State Teachers College, Cedar Falls.She was married to Ole Knutson Dec. 1, 1917 at Dolliver, and they have farmed in that area since their marriage. Mrs. Knutson was a member of the Dolliver Methodist Church.She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Linley (Sheryl) Barnes; one sister, Mrs. E.C. (Mary) Trees of Armstrong; one brother, Kenneth M. Peterson, of Minneapolis; and her father, Melvin Peterson of Dolliver. She was preceded in death by one son, Russell Dale Knutson in 1929, her mother, and one sister, Mrs. Harry (Racheal) Griffith.Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 15, at 2 p.m. at the Dolliver Methodist Church. Friends may call at the Sternborg Funeral Home from Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and at the Knutson farm home south of Dolliver on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 1:30 pm.Burial will be in the Dolliver cemetery.
