    • Bio: Marjorie L. Kibble was born October 12, 1924 to Otto and Margaret Peterson. She died after a short illness on February 16, 2017 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 92 years, 4 months and 2 days. (Obituary has two dates for birth. 10-12-1924 and 10-14-1924, if you calculate the dates her birth would be 10-14-1924.)
    • Margie was raised on a farm near Westerville Store. She married Raymond Kibble and together they raised their son Richard in Yankton, SD and Pomona, CA. She returned to South Dakota and lived in Beresford for the last 3 and ½ years and as a resident at Bethesda Nursing Home for the last 2 and ½ years.
    • Margie lived a quiet life caring for her family, elderly people and cleaning houses. She enjoyed cooking and still could remember many recipes. She was very alert until her death and was aware of world news. She loved her cats and tenderly fed them well and always cared for them and many other cats in the neighborhood.
    • She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond, son Richard, two sisters, Berniece Charrlin and Helen David, and three brothers, Harold, Stuart and Richard.
    • She is survived by her three sisters Florence Larson, Opal (Robert) South, Esther Peterson, and many nieces and nephews.
    • A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 22 at Wass Funeral Home in Beresford.
