- Bio: Born in Big Grove Township, Kendall County, she was the daughter of Axel and Carrie (Seim) Olson. She received her education in the schools of Kendall County and Pleasant View Luther College. She married Jesse Dale on October 16, 1935 at the West Lisbon Lutheran Church. For all of their married life they farmed in LaSalle and Kendall counties.Survivors are five children, Harold (Eleanor) Dale of Sterling, Annetta Dale of Newark, Stan (Diane) Dale of Marseilles, Ruth (Gary) Anderson of Newark, Rita (Loren) Olson of Woodstock; twelve grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband (July 02, 2006), two grandchildren in infancy and one brother, Olaf Olson.She was an active member of the West Lisbon Church. She taught Sunday school for many years and also was active in the Women's Ministries. She and her late husband loved serving the Lord with their gift of hospitality. Their home was always open to serve a meal or for overnight guests. Memorials may be given to the West Lisbon Building fund or World Mission Prayer League.Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law: John Dale, Mark Dale, Tony McEvoy, Steve Anderson, Tully Williams, Joel Halcomb, Mike Ricklefs, Ray Pelletier, David Olson and Michael Olson.
