- Bio: Charlotte D. Frey, 80, of Aurora, Colo., died Aug. 11, 2010. A memorial service will be held Aug. 27 at 11 a.m. at Horan & McConaty in Aurora.The first of six children, she was born Nov. 16, 1929 to Claus and Frances Malmberg of Pender, NE. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Verdell; one daughter, Cindy of Wichita, Kan.; three sons, Steve of Ballston Spa, N.Y., Ron and wife Karen of Centennial, Colo., and Les of Orlando, Fla.; and two granddaughters.Also surviving are five siblings, Ardell “Sparky” and wife Joann and Gary and wife Barb, all of O’Neill, NE, Shirley Marten of Lincoln NE , Dianne Raasch and husband Ron of Corydon, Iowa, and Cheryl Wensmann of St. Cloud, Minn.; one brother-in-law, Milan Frey and wife JoAnne of Lincoln; and three aunts, Helen Frey and Vivian (Frey) Coryell, both of Pender, and Edna Mae Frey of Thurston as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
