- Bio: Blake Thomas was born on October 16, 1999, in St. Cloud, MN, the son of Brian and Jennifer “Jenn” (Tholl) Lunderby. The family made their home in Minnesota where Blake grew up and attended schools. When they moved to Sidney, MT, Blake attended schools in Sidney.
Blake was a former employee of Lunderby Trucking and also worked at the Boys and Girls Club and was currently working at The Depot. The family moved to Sidney, MT on August 4, 2012 from Hutchinson, MN. Before the move to Sidney, Blake spent countless hours fishing on any body of water including but not limited to puddles, buckets, bathtubs, and even in Grandma Lunderby's fish tank. Blake also had a passion for hunting anything. Our backyard was always some sort of hunting ground ranging from going on an African safari or a hunting trip to Montana almost daily. Where the hunt happened depended upon the day and where his creative mind took him. Blake's lifelong dream was to hunt an elk in Montana for real instead of in the backyard or on the video screen. His father fulfilled that dream shortly after his 18th birthday. He shot an elk but was never able to recover the carcass. And yes, he missed several days of school to do it!
Blake died on Tuesday evening, May 8, 2018, at his home.
