Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Wolfe Funeral Home for Joe Larson. Rev. Orley White had charge of the services. Mrs. Howard Brannock and Miss Mabel Reimer furnished the music and the pall bearers were Willis Peterman, Francis Ousted, Seymour Taylor, Ralph Vetter, Dr. D. J. Chalmers, and Merrill Foote. Mrs. Chester Dotson and Mrs. Fay Corbin had charge of the flowers.
Joseph R. Larson, son of Ollie and Bertha Larson, was born February 2, 1884 in Adams County, Iowa and died of a heart attack at his home near Grant, Thursday evening. He was married to Amanda Lee, March 31, 1907. Mr. Larson is survived by his wife and three children, T 5-C Chester in France, Sgt Russell Larson, Shepherd Field, Texas; and Miss Maxine, a teacher in the Shenandoah Schools. There are also three brothers, Louis B. Larson, Loveland, Colorado; Andrew Larson, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Oscar Larson, Carbon. and five sisters, Mrs. Lena Hohenson and Mrs. Tillie Schnidwind, Omaha; Mrs. Anna Williams, Oakland, Iowa; Mrs. Sylvia Miller, Lincoln, Nebraska; and Mrs. Carrie Swanson of near Grant. Burial was in the Villisca Cemetery.
