Blanche Anna Kimball Kolessa, 87, of Columbus, Nebraska, died ay Columbus, Manor on Sunday, October 22, 2000.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., on Wednesday, October 25, 2000 at McKnown Funeral Home, Rev Douglas Zurek officiated with burial in Roselawn Cemetery in Columbus.

Blanche Ana Kolessa was born May 31, 1932 in Bolivar, Missouri to , Charles W. and Mary Stama Kimball, She attended schools in Norfolk, Nebraska. She married Elmer Levos, Sr. on October 5, 1932. They had three children. He died December 22, 1962. She married William Kolessa on November 27, 1964 in Kearney, Nebraska. Mrs. Kolessa lived in Columbus for 53 years in her present home. She was a housewife and worked various restaurant jobs previous to working 12 years at Fleischer Mfg. and 15 years at Becton-Dickinson where she retired in 1975. She enjoyed playing with her dog Pudgy.
Survivors include her husband, William Kolessa, daughters, LaVonne Kouma of Bellwood and Irene (Mike) Nemeth of Tucson, Arizona, son Elmer Levos, Jr. of Shelby, Nebraska; sister, Gladys (Harold) Knapp of Pierce, Nebrasa; brother, Wayne (Marie) of Norfolk, Nebraska, and sister-in-law, Mina Kimball of Omaha, Nebraska.
Preceding her in death were father, Charles Kimball; mother, Mary Kimball, daughter-in-law, Mary Devos, brothers, Charles Kimball, Frank Kimball, and Warren Kimball; sister, Goldie Selders, first husband, Elmer Levos, Sr. and grandson Michael Lee Nemath.
