  Bio: Kay A. Hubbard, age 82 of Mankato, died May 9, 2019. Funeral Service 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Mankato with visitation one hour before service on Thursday. Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery, Montevideo. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Kay was born October 4, 1936 to Russell D. and Gertrude A. (Kurtz) Aanes in Chippewa County, Minnesota. She graduated from Mason City High School in 1955, Mason City Junior College in 1957, and attended the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. Kay worked for many years at Immanuel – St. Joseph’s Hospital in patient care administration. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Mankato. Kay enjoyed attending theatre productions and concerts, was a voracious reader, and delighted in travel to historic sites. Kay was preceded in death by her parents.--Mankato Mortuary
