- was born about 1300 in Skjervheim farm #138, Vats, Rogaland. She died after 1362 in Norway. Gyrid Ingemundsdatter was a member of the wealthy and powerful Ingemund family. In 1362, she appeared in court with her daughter to claim ownership of the Frøyland farm. Gyrid claimed that the farm had been given to her by a cousin, Sira (priest) Eimund Ogmundsson. Gyrid had two sworn witnesses that confirmed she had received it from Sira Eimund. She won the case and Frøyland remained in the family until 1405 when her daughter, Sigrid, who was married to Jon Tollaksson, sold Frøyland (DN 4 nr 748).
