- Bio: Luella Madson, 76, of Webster City died of heart failure Sunday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services are at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City, with the Revs. Tom Hunt and Stephen Anenson officiating. Burial will be in the Story City Cemetery.Luella Madson was born in Story City, the daughter of R.L. and Anna (Sampson) Haugland on January 16, 1920. On February 14, 1941, she married Orville Madson in Story City. Mrs. Madson was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. She lived in Ames, Story City and Boone before moving to Webster City in 1977.Mrs . Madson is survived by her husband; two sons, Larry (Connie) Madson of Boone and Paul (Pauline) Madson of Ames; three daughters, Barbara (Bob) Soregaroli of Worthington, Minnesota, Sharon (John) Christenson of Webster City and Linda (Tom) Reed of Holden, Maine; one brother, Arnold Haugland of Nevada; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
