- Bio: Buffalo Center TribuneSeptember 24, 1964"Last Rites Today For Two-Year-Old David Egesdal"David Eugene Egesdal, small son of Mr. and Mrs. Carlin Egesdal, Jr. of Kanawha, passed away Monday morning, September 21 at the hospital in Belmond where he had been taken Sunday September 20.Little David, almost 2 ½ years of age, had been having the mumps, and complications set in with the result he was suffering from ensephelitis.Besides his parents, he leaves two sisters, Kathy and Darla, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ingvald Askeland of Buffalo Center and Mr. and Mrs. Carlin Egesdal, Sr. of Ledyard and other relatives.Funeral services will be held Thursday, (today) September 24, at the Liberty Lutheran Church in Rake with interment in Olena Mound cemetery at Buffalo Center.
