- Bio: George Ensz, 78, Bismarck, died Dec. 8, 2000 in a local hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at Living Hope Nazarene Church, Bismarck, with the Rev. Ernie Hockett officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.
- Visitation will be from noon-9 p.m. today, and 1-9 p.m. Sunday, both at Boelter Funeral Home, Bismarck, and will continue Monday for one hour prior to the service at the church.
- George was born Nov. 23, 1922 on the family homestead south of Arena, the son of Peter I. and Margaret (Borne) Ensz. He was raised and educated near Arena. George married Dolores Feigel on Aug. 14, 1949 and resided in Bismarck.
- He worked for the city of Bismarck for 37 1/2 years. After his retirement, he delivered the Bismarck Tribune for 16 years, mowed lawns, and was always there when somebody needed.
- George was a member of the Living Hope Nazarene Church, and was awarded the Blood Donor Award.
- George is survived by his wife, Dolores of 51 years; seven children, Dave, Deborah, Dennis, Daryl, Daniel, Denise and Margaret, all of Bismarck; one grandson, one granddaughter; and one great-grandson; two sisters, Nettie Roberts, California, and Eva Kaiser, Bismarck; and several nieces and nephews.
- He also leaves behind several coffee buddies and one special friend, Willis Almer.
