Ole Leroy Engels, 63, retired Tinker Field clerk, died Monday. Engels, who lived at 1613 E. Madison, died at the Masonic lodge at 50 Broadway Circle. Street & Draper Funeral Home will announce services.
- Engels, a native of Chicago, IL, had lived in Oklahoma City since coming from San Antonio in 1942, where he was a civil service employee. He retired from Tinker Field production control department in 1952. Engels, a World War I infantry veteran, belonged to Christ Methodist Church and was a Mason.
- He is survived by his wife, Pauline, of the home; a daughter, Mrs Dan Austerlitz, 517 Tinker Drive; and two grandchildren.
