- Man Killed In Farm Accident
- An accident with farming equipment claimed the life Friday of Vincent Patrick Dauer, 48, farmer in the Box Elder area and salesman for mutual funds.
- Born in Wheelock, N.D., on Aug. 6, 1921, Dauer was married in Big Sandy in 1956 to the former Gladys Flatness, who survives him.
- A World War II veteran serving in the Navy and Merchant Marine, Dauer came to Box Elder in 1947 and moved to Havre several months ago. He was a member of the American Legion, the FOE No. 166, and the BPOE No. 1201.
- Survivors in addition to his widow include his sons, Patrick 12, David 10, Daniel 9, and Roger 8; a sister, Mrs. Louise Oleniacz Annadale, Va.; and three brothers, Eugene of Louisville, Ky., Anthony of Westminster, Calif., and Richard of Grafton, N.D.
