Marvin L. Cruise
A funeral for Marvin L. Cruise, 84, of Vacaville will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Vaca
Hills Chapel. Pastor John Nichols will officiate. Burial will be 11 a.m.,
Wednesday in Tehama Cemetery, Tehama, CA.
- Mr. Cruise died April 18, 2002, in Vacaville suddenly.
- Mr. Cruise worked as a carpenter and avid cattle rancher. A native of Saint
Edward, Neb., he resided in California for the last 46 years. He was a member of
the Old Country Church in Gerber.
- Mr. Cruise is survived by his wife of 64 years, Clarice L. of Vacaville; sons
and daughter-in-laws, Duane and Charlene of La Pine,OR. Darryl and Jean of Corning,
daughters and son-in-laws, Dora Jean and Earl Moore of Vacaville, Marlene and
Pete Rubel of Red Bluff, Connie and Paul Colston of Red Bluff, and Carlene and
Steve Pearson of Fairfield; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; brother
and sister-in-law, Fay and Eleanor Cruise of St. Edward, NE. sister, Opal Touchstone of Bakersfield. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Loraine
Clarice; sister, Clarise Stevens of Nebraska; parents, Guy and Edith of St.
Edward, NE.
- A visitation will be 10 a.m., Tuesday in Vaca Hills Chapel. Memorial
contributions may be made to The Alpha Pregnancy Resource Center, 138 S. Orchard
