    • Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Atonement Lutheran Church St. Cloud, MN for Larry Alan Corbin Sr., age 64 who passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Friday May 25, 2012. Friends and relatives may call from 5 to 7 PM Friday at the Williams Dingmann Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to services at Church on Saturday.
    • Larry was born to the late Willard and Adeline (Erickson) Corbin in Grand Forks, ND and was raised in Crookston, MN. He was a 1965 graduate of Central High School in Crookston, MN. He was united in marriage to Karen R. Hackett on February 26, 1966. Larry worked his whole life at Rock Tenn., formerly known as Smurfit - Stone Container. Larry enjoyed many things in life all of which included an opportunity for him to be with family and friends; Golfing, fishing, go-karting, the traditional yearly trip to the Minnesota State Fair, the Minnesota North Stars' games, traveling, and watching his children and grandchildren participate in sporting events.
    • The most important aspect in life to Larry was his family. He made this evident with the strong everlasting love he had and showed for his wife, Karen. Larry's actions of love for his children and grandchildren never wavered. Only providing proof to what he always spoke to and taught us, "Family is the most important thing in life."
    • Larry was an amazing Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle, and Friend to many. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
    • Larry is survived by his wife, Karen; children: Larry Jr. "Chip" Corbin of Brooklyn Park; Christine DeZurik of St. Cloud; Kim (Pete) Matanich of St. Cloud; Kelly (Dusty) Lovold of Sauk Rapids; seven grandchildren: Nicole and Rebecca DeZurik, Kevin Grove, Nick and Anne Corbin, and Peter J. and Corbin Matanich; siblings: Sandy (Mark) Rye of Moorhead; Gary (Georgianna) of St. Cloud; Cindy (Jim) Bastien of West Fargo. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, extended family, and very special friends.
    • Preceding him in death are his parents.
