- Joy Nadine Bond, 62, of Yukon, OK was reunited with her beloved daughter, Leslie, in heaven on November 4, 2017. She was born April 10, 1955 in Odessa, TX to Leslie and Mary Callies. She married Alan Bond on February 16, 1974 at Yukon Church of the Nazarene. Joy lived in Odessa TX, Los Angeles, CA, Mount Grove, Missouri and then moved to Yukon, OK in 1969 where she made All-State Choir in 1972. She was very active in the Yukon Church of the Nazarene. Joy worked as a central processor at the Oklahoma Tax Commission office.
- She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Leslie Evans; grandson, Mac Evans; granddaughter, Marisa Evans; daughter-in-law, Courtney Bond; and brother, Steven Callies. Survivors include her husband, Alan Bond; son, Jay and Carrie Bond; grandsons, Andrew and Reece Bond; brothers, Harold and Mary Callies, Fred and Jeanne Callies; sisters, Ruth Callies and Laura Womack; sister-in-law, Debra Callies; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
- Viewing will be Tuesday, 9am to 9pm, with family present from 5-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be at Mercer-Adams Chapel on Wednesday, November 8, at 10:00am, with burial in Yukon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Tenaciously Teal or to the Stephenson Cancer Center at OU Medical Center.
