- Bio: Stratford CourierJuly 2, 1925OBITUARYHarold, the three-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Berglund of southeast of Stratford, passed away very suddenly at the family home Friday. The exact cause of his death is not known but from the nature of his illness it is supposed that he in some way got hold of some poison and ate it.Harold Gustaf Berglund was born near Stratford, August 12, 1922 and passed away June 26, 1925, at the age of 2 years, 10 months, 14 days. He is survived by his bereaved parents and one sister, who is about five years old.He was an unusually bright little fellow, strong and robust, and his sudden passing has filled the home with sadness which is hard to endure. The sorrowing parents have the sincere sympathy of their many friends in this their sad hour.Funeral services were held from the home Monday at 1:30 p.m. and from the Lutheran church here at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. G.O. Paulsrud of Randall was in charge of the service. Interment was made in the South Marion cemetery.Card of ThanksWe desire to express our sincerest thanks to our friends and neighbors for their many kind acts and words of sympathy during our bereavement in the death of our son; also to those who sang and for the pretty flowers.
