He grew up on the family farm near Valley Springs, SD and received his education in Brandon, SD. He then farmed with his father. LeRoy was united in marriage with Bonita "Bonnie" Rollag on October 20, 1957 in Valley Springs. In addition to farming, LeRoy also worked for Norlin Concrete for several years. LeRoy and Steve were both father and son and best friends. They farmed together for many years, milking cows and raising crops, cattle and pigs. They cherished spending time with their family. They also enjoyed trips to Arizona to see Eric and Carmen. Grateful for having shared LeRoy's life are his wife, Bonnie; two children, Pam Eitreim and her husband, Jeff, Brandon, SD, Eric Beiningen and his wife, Carmen, Bullhead City, AZ; his daughter-in-law, Kim Beiningen, Garretson, SD; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Adam and Katie Beiningen, Ben, Tom and Danny Eitreim, Brandon Hanson; his mother, Helen Munson, Sioux Falls, SD; two sisters, Deanna Rollag, Sioux Falls, SD, Karen Nelson, Sioux Falls, SD; his mother-in-law, Leanie Rollag, Canton, SD; two sisters-in-law, LaRae Markle and her husband, Jim, Canton, SD, Beverly Rollag, Silverthorne, CO; a brother-in-law, Virgil Rollag, Evans, CO; and a host of other relatives and friends. LeRoy was preceded in death by his father, William; an uncle, Fred Beiningen; a sister-in-law, Judy Rollag; and a brother-in-law, Raymond Rollag. Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family for lunch and fellowship at Brandon Lutheran Church following the committal service.
