- Bio: George D. Vilim, 41, former resident here and more recently of Omaha, died Sunday in a hospital there following an operation. Mr. Vilim was born in Sioux City and lived here until about 10 years ago. He had been employed by the Haskins Soap company here and when the offices were moved to Omaha, Mr. Vilim moved also. Surviving are the widow, Hanna; a daughter Dorothy, and a son George, jr., all of Omaha; four sisters, Mrs. Nellie Junck of Hinton and Mrs. Mary Voils, Mrs. Rose Henderson and Mrs. Genevieve Brookner, all of Sioux City, and three brothers, Frank, Charles and Arthur Vilim, all of Sioux City. The body will arrive here Tuesday morning and will be taken to Anderson's funeral home pending the completion of funeral arrangements.

- Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in Anderson's chapel for George D. Vilim, 41, of Omaha, a former resident here, who died Sunday in an Omaha hospital after an operation. Rev. J. W. Carlson, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church, will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park cemetery.
