- Bio: Robert died in Eidswold, MN.Obituary:NORTHFIELD--Funeral services for Robert A. Tripp, 63, who passed away Monday, Aug. 22, after a heart attack were held Thursday, Aug. 25 at the Methodist church with the Rev. Thorlief Harberg, officiating at 1:30 p.m. Burial was made in Oaklawn cemetery. Pallbearers were Donald Rock, Pete Lord, Charles Hatfield, T. M. Carel, Walter Gustafson and Ray Sauvage. Robert Ancil Tripp was born July 6, 1892 in Castle Rock, the son of Edwin and Annie Jorgenson Tripp. When 13 years of age he moved to Northfield with his parents where he has since made his home. He attended the Northfield schools and on Sept. 28, 1913 he was united in marriage to Miss Minnie Frederickson in the East Christiania church. They came to Northfield where they have since made their home. Mr. Tripp was employed for 23 years at the Northfield plant of the Twin City Milk Producer's Association and retired just a few weeks ago when the plant was closed. He is survived by his widow and six children including Mrs. Ralph Engstrom (Eleanor) of Lancaster, Pa.; Allen, Maryboro, Australia; Mrs. Lyle Freeman (Lois), John and Eugene of Northfield and Gerald of Denver, Colo. One son, James, was killed in World War II. He is also survived by one brother, George, of Northfield and a number of nieces and nephews. Faribault (Minnesota)
