- Cecil Perry Swett, 86, of Woodland, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, in a Vancouver nursing home.
Mr. Swett was born May 16, 1913, in Ericson, Neb. He attended school in Nebraska and lived in Montana before coming to Clark County in 1937.
He was a dairy farmer and enjoyed fishing, singing, watching wrestling and driving around the Woodland area. He was a member of Woodland Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Elks and the grange.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Ella M., at home; three daughters, Leota Mynatt of Lyons, Ore., Marge Baranske of Vancouver and Judy Osmanberg of Ariel; one son, Dale of Woodland; two sisters, Bunny Mark of Spokane and Roberta Cartright of Florida; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Woodland Presbyterian Church followed by burial in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vancouver. The casket will be open from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Woodland Funeral Home.
